Corporate Image was a leading U.S. packaging manufacturer, creating innovative presentation materials and unique luxury packaging solutions. They came to use to initially fix their WordPress website that was extremely outdated and poorly coded, which caused a lot of frustration amongst the site admins.  So phase 1 was to help them get their new logo we rebranded on the initial site.

Phase 2 of the project was to rebuild the website with the new designs made by Measure, INC. Since better SEO was a huge part of their wish list, along with a lot of heavy images to show off their products, we decided to make this site a headless WordPress setup. That’s where the front end code is hosted completely separate from the WordPress CMS Admin code.

The positives to doing this is 1) performance speed is super FAST, 2) Helps with security and 3) Makes building complex designs a lot easier since you can choose whatever frontend code your development team is comfortable with. In this case we choose React on a Node.js cloud server. Where the WordPress CMS was hosted on a separate server, and both talked to each other using the GraphQL Query language. This setup let us cherry pick what data goes to each pages. Making the page loads extremely fast, because less content needed to be loaded (WordPress page loads more content than is needed 99% of the time).
